Uniting Students to Make Change

by the students, for the students

Washington High School Democrats (WAHSDA) is a youth-led non-profit organization dedicated to educating, engaging, and empowering students through civic engagement. We strive to make a difference in our state by lobbying state lawmakers, organizing educational events, initiating awareness campaigns, and starting chapters in schools across Washington. We are committed to making sure that young people have a seat at the table in politics and have the tools they need to succeed. We hope that through our work, we can create a more equitable future.

Connecting Youth with Lawmakers

We’ve hosted numerous events that give students the opportunity to hear directly from current members of Congress, state legislators, and even former Washington Governor Jay Inslee. Our goal is to empower the next generation by fostering meaningful conversations between youth and decision-makers. Together, we can inspire civic engagement and create a brighter future!
